New domain for integrated postgraduate portal and system 2 (i-PPS 2)

To All Postgraduate Students,



NEW DOMAIN FOR INTEGRATED POSTGRADUATE PORTAL AND SYSTEM 2 (i-PPS 2)



1. Please be informed that the i-PPS has now moved to a new domain for ALL GRADUATE STUDENTS starting from October 2nd, 2021.



2. The new domain of i-PPS2 can be accessed through the url: https://ipps2.usim.edu.my



3. i-PPS2 can be accessed without the use of the Virtual Private Network (VPN).



4. Please login to i-PPS 2 using existing user id and password of i-PPS Portal.

New domain for new applicants

TO ALL APPLICANTS ONLY

All applicants for postgraduate programmes should be completed at the new domain: https://ipps2.usim.edu.my

For new applicant,
1. Click create new account.

For existing applicant,
1. Reset your password by clicking the FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD.
2. Enter your registered email for application.
3. Click link retrieved from your email.
4. Enter the new password.
5. Reconfirm the new password.
6. Login to ipps2 using username and new password.

ACCESS TO iPPS USING VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK (VPN) FOR STAFF AND STUDENT ONLY

1. For existing iPPS users (staff and student only), you are advised to access to iPPS through Virtual Private Network (VPN) on each device (Windows / MacOS) as per attached document.

Requirement: Windows 10 or latest version of MacOS


TO ALL STUDENTS,

2. To install VPN, please login using matric number and iStudent password. For students who have never logged into iStudent, please login to iPPS (without VPN) and reset the password via the "Change of Password" Menu, before accessing the VPN.

TO ALL STAFF,

3. To install VPN, please login using iStaff/iAccess username and password.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL USERS

1. IPPS will be reopened and fully accessible at Jul 28th, 2021 onwards.
2. Please RESET your password. (ALL USERS)
A) CLICK Forgot Your Password link.
B) Key in your email associated with the IPPS account and click SUBMIT button.
e.g: username@usim.edu.my
C) An email to reset your password has been sent to your email account. Click the link.
D) Fill in your new password. Confirm the new password. Click RESET button.
E) Go to IPPS portal and login using your new password.
3. For students, upon changes, the new password should be used to log into the iSTUDENT portal, USIMwifi and GOALS.
4. Please CHECK and REDO all the activities done (in the i-PPS portal) between Jul 13th – 17th, 2021 (ALL USERS).
5. If you find any errors, kindly report (with screenshot[s]) of the interface to cgs@usim.edu.my.

For those who required to use USIM’s raudah email, kindly refer below:

For new student intake A202 (Semester II 2020/2021):

1. Check your private email (gmail/yahoo@etc) and search for email from Microsoft, containing Username and Temporary Password.
2. If you did not receive the Microsoft Email, fill the form by “Click here to submit request to admin” through link, bit.ly/usim365 to apply for Raudah Email.

3. Log-in using your credential on mail.usim.edu.my

For returning student:

PENGEMASKINIAN DATA ALAMAT KEDIAMAN TETAP DAN PENDAPATAN ISI RUMAH PELAJAR PASCASISWAZAH USIM

Selaras dengan permohonan data pendapatan isi rumah dan alamat kediaman tetap oleh pihak Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi (KPT) melalui portal MyMohes (Sistem Pengumpulan Data Universiti Awam), setiap Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam perlu menyediakan data para pelajar pengajian pascasiswazah.

Sehubungan itu, borang ini telah dibangunkan oleh Pusat Pengajian Siswazah (PPS) untuk mengumpulkan maklumat berkaitan. Dipohon agar pihak tuan / puan dapat melengkapkan maklumat diperlukan dengan jujur untuk memastikan data yang dipanjangkan kepada pihak Kementerian adalah tepat dan terkini.

NOTICE: REGISTRATION OF SEMESTER II, ACADEMIC SESSION 2020/2021 (A202)

Dear Returning Students

All results for Final Examinations and Online Progress Report (OPR) for Semester I, Academic Session 2020/2021 (A201) will be released on March 24, 2021 after the endorsement of Senate meeting. Hence, the iPPS Portal will be opened for viewing RESULT ONLY.

System will be closed for technical adjustment from March 25-28, 2021.

You are required to register for Semester II, Academic Session 2020/2021 (A202) starting from March 29, 2021 until April 25, 2021 (4 weeks). You may refer to the Academic Calendar of Semester II, Academic Session 2020/2021 (A202) at the following link: https://cgs.usim.edu.my/student-related/academic-calendar/. Failure to register before the stipulated date will result in a penalty to be imposed.

To register, you need to pay the tuition fees and the outstanding balance in your ledger, then, your status will be changed to ‘REGISTERED’ once the payment is successfully received. This process may take 1 to 3 working days depend on your payment method.

To check your fee amount, you may refer to your ledger in your iPPS Portal starting from 29 March 2021. Any inquiries related to the fee matters, you can email to hazzwanizakaria@usim.edu.my / ahmadasyraf@usim.edu.my.
